Best Chem Supplies operates a global logistics infrastructure built for laboratories, research institutions, and industrial facilities that demand precision at every step. We ship to 40+ countries with full customs documentation, hazmat certifications, and temperature-controlled logistics chains. Processing Times

Orders are processed during standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST). Most in-stock orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Custom synthesis, bulk orders, and specialty chemicals may require additional lead time, which will be communicated at the time of quotation.

Every request undergoes multi-point validation before dispatch: we qualify the source, audit inventory in real-time, cross-check regulatory compliance, and match supply to your use-case requirements.

Shipping Methods

We partner with leading carriers to offer a range of shipping options:

  • Standard Ground: 5–7 business days (domestic US).
  • Expedited: 2–3 business days.
  • Express / Overnight: Next-business-day delivery for time-critical orders.
  • International Standard: 7–21 business days depending on destination and customs.
  • International Express: 3–7 business days with full tracking.

Carrier selection is determined by product classification, destination, and customer preference. Hazardous materials and temperature-sensitive shipments require specialized handling and may have limited carrier options.

Packaging Protocols

Our packaging protocols follow stability matrices dictated by chemistry. Depending on the product, shipments may include:

  • Temperature-Controlled: Insulated boxes with gel packs or dry ice for cold-chain products.
  • Inert-Atmosphere Packaging: Sealed under nitrogen for moisture- or oxygen-sensitive compounds.
  • Hazmat-Certified: UN-rated containers, absorbent materials, and proper hazard labeling for dangerous goods.
  • Standard Laboratory Packaging: Bubble wrap, corrugated dividers, and tamper-evident seals for glassware and instruments.

All packages are labeled with handling instructions, SDS references, and emergency contact information where required by regulation.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Total weight and dimensions of the order.
  • Shipping destination (domestic or international).
  • Selected service level (standard, expedited, express).
  • Special handling requirements (hazmat, cold-chain, inert atmosphere).

Orders over a specified threshold may qualify for free standard ground shipping within the contiguous United States. Promotional shipping offers will be displayed at checkout when applicable.

International Shipping

We serve 850+ clients across 40+ countries. International shipments are subject to:

  • Customs Documentation: Full commercial invoices, COAs, SDSs, and export/import licenses as required.
  • Hazmat Certifications: IATA/IMDG compliance for air and ocean transport of dangerous goods.
  • Duties & Taxes: Import duties, VAT, and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient unless Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms have been agreed in writing.
  • Regulatory Compliance: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the ordered products can be legally imported into the destination country.

Delivery times for international orders are estimates and may be extended due to customs inspections, regulatory holds, or carrier delays beyond our control.

Tracking & Notifications

Zero noise. Real-time tracking from initial request through QC, packaging, dispatch, and delivery — with proactive alerts at every milestone. Once your order ships, you will receive:

  • A shipment confirmation email with carrier and tracking number.
  • Status updates at key milestones: dispatched, in transit, out for delivery, delivered.
  • Exception alerts for delays, customs holds, or delivery issues.

Delivery Issues

If you experience a delivery issue, please contact us as soon as possible:

  • Lost Packages: Report within 14 days of the expected delivery date. We will initiate a carrier investigation and, if confirmed lost, arrange a replacement or refund.
  • Damaged Packages: Report within 48 hours with photographs of the packaging and contents. We will file a carrier claim and expedite a replacement shipment.
  • Incorrect Address: If an incorrect address was provided at checkout, the customer is responsible for any reshipment costs. Address corrections after dispatch may incur carrier fees.

Restrictions

Certain products may be subject to shipping restrictions based on:

  • Local, state, or national regulations governing chemical transport.
  • Temperature or storage requirements that cannot be met for the selected destination.
  • Carrier limitations on hazardous materials for specific routes.

If we cannot ship a product to your location, we will notify you promptly and offer alternatives where possible.
