This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, returns, and exchanges may be granted for orders placed through our website or directly with our sales team.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled without penalty if the request is received before the order has entered the packaging or dispatch stage. Once an order has been prepared for shipment, cancellation may still be possible but may incur a processing fee. Custom synthesis orders and made-to-order specialty chemicals cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. To process your claim, we require:

Your order number and batch number.
Photographic evidence of the damaged or incorrect product and packaging.
A description of the issue and its impact on your research or operations.

Upon verification, we will arrange a replacement shipment at no additional cost or issue a full refund, including original shipping charges. Our 98% on-time fulfillment rate and strict handling protocols minimize these occurrences, but when they happen, we resolve them with military precision.

Product Quality & Documentation Discrepancies

Every batch is shipped with a Certificate of Analysis (COA), Safety Data Sheet (SDS), and traceability documentation. If the documentation does not match the product received, or if analytical data falls outside stated specifications, notify us within 14 days of receipt. We will:

Investigate the discrepancy with our ISO-certified manufacturers.
Provide corrected documentation or a replacement batch.
Issue a refund if a satisfactory resolution cannot be achieved.

Eligible Returns

The following items may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery, subject to inspection:

Unopened, non-hazardous chemicals in original, unbroken packaging.
Unused lab equipment in original condition with all accessories and manuals.
Items that were ordered in error, provided they meet safety and resale criteria.

All eligible returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover inspection, re-certification, and repackaging costs. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to safety, regulatory, and stability considerations, the following categories are non-returnable:

Opened, used, or partially consumed chemicals and reagents.
Temperature-sensitive products that have exceeded their cold-chain requirements.
Custom synthesis compounds, custom-prepared solutions, and special-order items.
Hazardous materials, flammable solvents, and regulated substances.
Items purchased on clearance or marked as non-returnable at the time of sale.

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. The time for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment provider.

International Orders

We ship to 40+ countries with full customs documentation and hazmat certifications. International refunds may take longer to process due to customs clearance and cross-border banking timelines. Import duties, taxes, and original international shipping costs are non-refundable.

Do not return any items without first obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Exceptions & Discretion

Best Chem Supplies reserves the right to refuse any refund or return that does not meet the criteria outlined above. However, we understand that research timelines are critical, and we will work with you to find a fair resolution whenever possible. For large institutional accounts and recurring clients, customized return arrangements may be negotiated as part of a supply agreement.
